On the edge of the jungle lies a large building which neither faction claims as its own, but rather which serves both. The Red House it is called, and it offers all sorts of comforts and services to those with the gold. But don't expect any of the staff to defend you should a fight break out -- that's your own problem. However, a hand lifted against any House member is another matter entirely, as they viciously defend their own.

This upcoming event will take place this Saturday (10/20/2018) at 5pm EST. It will have a time limit of 2 hours, but could end sooner.
The goal will be for the attacking force (a coalition of the south and allies) to kill the fort commanders (a pair of thralls) of the defending force (a coalition of the north and allies).
If the attacking force successfully kills the fort commanders within the two-hour time limit, they've won. In addition, there will be several loot chests hidden around the defending fortress--if these chests are destroyed, their contents can be looted by the attackers and any reward will be theirs to keep, win or lose. If a chest is destroyed and the contents not looted before they despawn, the attackers will not be reimbursed for its loss.
In addition to a base reward for participating, the defending force will receive a bonus for each chest not looted or destroyed by the attacking force, and an additional bonus if they defend the fort commander for the full two hours.
While this is an IC event, there will be no consequences for players involved in PvP for its duration. Your character is assumed to have survived unharmed if you participate, and you can participate as a "mercenary" for either side. Some siege supplies will be provided to both the attackers and defenders for the event (specifically, a few trebuchets), but everyone is encouraged to bring their own.
